How can you keep your pieces looking their best?

The short answer is... Wear them! Turquoise and Sterling Silver do much better on your finger (or wherever you have it) due to the natural oils in your skin keeping the silver from tarnishing. When you are not wearing though, it is always best to keep in a cool dry place, zip lock baggies are great for if you are in a humid location. I've sent a polishing bad home with your piece; those are amazing for getting rid of tarnish (or any extra of the blackener I've used to make embellishments pop).

If it really needs a good clean, I have options! I've ruined jewelry in the past by not knowing what I was putting on my silver to clean it. So you don't have to go through that heartbreak, I'll lay it out for you if a silver polishing cloth just isn't cutting it.

Start by trying a super soft bristled toothbrush and clean water. no chemicals. although some chemicals may not harm your silver, it's the turquoise we are worried about here.

What else will do the trick? Lemon! whisk 1/2 cup lemon juice and 1 teaspoon olive oil together and dip a soft cleaning cloth into this mixture, ring out the excess and clean you silver and or stones with that, gently, using the wrong cloth could damage your stone.
